About Us As a Mother of three small children and many friends with cloth nappied children you can be assured our products have been well tested and as a result are well fitting and reliable over a large range of different shaped and sized babies. Since we started in 2004 as Bubba Nature we have had many happy return customers who love our products . My name is Renee and in 2003 decided that I would like to venture into the cloth nappy world. I started out using terry squares and plastic PVC pants and it wasn’t until a year later that I discovered modern fitted cloth nappies thanks to the wonderful Gabrielle at Bubba Earth. I then went on to designing my own patterns and Bubba Nature was born in June 2004 I get asked all the time why I use cloth nappies, I tell them how would you like to wear sweaty plastic chemical filled pants all the time because when you put your baby in a disposable this is exactly what you are doing. I also love the cuteness factor of a fitted nappy, the print choices are endless. Why anyone would pick a plain white disposable over a striped funky fitted or a cuddly lemon sherpa fitted is beyond me. We are also big believers in baby wearing via the way of slings ,wraps or pouches. The closeness and contentment in which a baby feels in a sling is wonderful for both mother and baby as having a baby held close to your beating heart settles them immediately.Slings are great in this way for very fussy and hard to settle babies, a Mother can be hands free to do other things while baby can get some sleep . I was first introduced to slings when my son was born thanks to my wonderful friend Julie who I met at my local markets. Soon after after falling in love with the many benefits of slings we went on to create our own range of ring slings called the “Carry Close ".
